Carnival Nomination Information
Carnivals
Once the swimmer is registered, they are eligible to swim at all carnivals. Carnivals range from weekend meets hosted by clubs to State Age Titles in December and National Age Championships in April. The full list is on the Queensland Swimming Website Qld Swimming Website .
There are carnivals in Brisbane and surrounding areas every Saturday and Sunday throughout spring and summer. The club coach will target certain events that the squad and club members should attend. If you wish to attend any carnival, please let the coach know of your intentions.
Nomination
For some carnivals you will need to nominate online through the Swimming Queensland Member Portal. Click for instructions on How to Enter Online .
Other carnivals you will need to nominate and pay through the Club’s Race Secretary via the mail box at the top of the pool.
Nomination form
When nominating click on QSA, BSA or General meet, to download the appropriate form which you can complete and place with your money into the mailbox poolside. Forms are also available poolside.
Payment and lodgement
Complete the form with all details including DOB and full name and consign the correct fee in a clip seal bag (can be reused) or sealed envelope and hand it directly to the Race Secretary on club nights before the cut off date or place it in the mailbox at the top of the pool. They will lodge the nomination on behalf of the swimmer and the club.

Qualifying times
All swimmers competing in qualifying meets must have previously swum the qualifying times, No qualifying time = No Swim = No Exceptions.
Mark, the coach is the person that you need to direct your questions to about qualifying requirements.
Club Uniforms
All club swimmers are required to wear Club caps, shirts and uniform at all meets
