1st Qualifing meet at Chandler
Published October 18, 2011 | Hi all, well some great swims in the real 1st hit out of the new season. Most of the seniors had a swim at Chandler pool and we saw some pretty good swims.
The highlights were: Jack Collins placed 1st in the backstroke qualifying for nationals in the 100 Backstroke.
Melanie Gock qualified in the 100 Breaststroke for nationals.
Jaye Malony-Busch swam a great PB for 100 freestyle in 1.02.
Lara Wingreen swam a PB in the 200 IM
Some PB’s in the 100 Freestyle for Tahlia Seeto – 1.05
Sam Firrell – 1.04
Next weekend we have the 5km open state champs and we have Michele Lim competing. We would like to wish her all the best.
That’s all – looking forward to morre competitions ahead.

Junior swim camp
Published October 6, 2011 | The Junior swim camp was a great success. We had 36 kids form the local area come along and learn about all the strokes. we also went through starts and turns with the kids. A Lot of fun with the mats as the kids tried to walk on water – Thanks to Ron and Katherine Hardcastle for their help on the day.
Sign On is Coming
Published September 29, 2011 | Don’t forget sign on is happening on Friday night 7th October.
As this our sign on and our first club night make sure you bring your swimmers. Be at the pool from 6pm to register and races start at 6.30pm.
This is a great night to enjoy the free BBQ and meet some of the new families or catch up with some friends from last season.

We have learnt how to make updates, change peoples photos and add PDFs. Look out world your times might actually be available on line the same night as racing!
We are wanting to set up a password protected photogallery so that we can share all the fun from carnivals and fun days as well. So start snapping and sending your pictures to admin@cjsswimclub.com.au

Swimmeroo carnival October 15th
Published September 29, 2011 | Next swimming carnival is Swimmeroo at Chandler pool October 15th to 16th.
Closing date is October 3rd by 5pm.
All entries are to be completed on line through Queensland swimming.
If you are using short course times you must do a paper nomination. You will find the forms on the Swimming Qld Website.
